Summit Digital Marketing is seeking a detail-oriented Digital Marketing Data Analyst to join our team. As a Digital Marketing Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing data, tracking conversions, and generating actionable insights to optimize marketing strategies and drive ROI for our clients. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in data analysis tools, and a passion for delivering accurate and insightful reporting.This person must be teachable, competent, self-motivated, trustworthy, honest, able to listen to instructions, have a good work ethic, and a willingness to learn.

Summit Digital Marketing is a remote digital marketing agency (based out of Colorado Springs, Colorado) specializing in SEO and PPC services. We serve clients in 50+ different industries across North America, Europe, and Asia.

Main Responsibilities Include: 

  • Analytics and Conversion Tracking (Tag Implementation, Pixels, Event Tracking): Implement and maintain tracking tags, pixels, and event tracking codes across digital marketing channels (e.g., websites, landing pages, email campaigns). Ensure accurate data collection and conversion tracking to support campaign optimization and performance measurement.
  • ROI Reporting, including Cross-Channel Reporting: Develop and deliver comprehensive ROI reports that provide insights into the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns across various channels (e.g., PPC, SEO, social media, email). Consolidate data from multiple sources to create cross-channel reports and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Marketing Analysis & Business Insights: Analyze marketing data to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that impact business performance. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to optimize marketing strategies, improve customer engagement, and drive revenue growth.
  • Quality Assurance, Testing, and Troubleshooting: Conduct quality assurance (Q.A.) testing to ensure accurate data collection and reporting. Troubleshoot tracking issues, discrepancies, and technical errors to maintain data integrity and reliability. Perform A/B testing and experimentation to optimize campaign performance and user experience.
  • KPI: Accurate ROI Tracking for Clients

Skills Needed

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, or related field.
  • Proven experience in digital marketing analytics, with a strong understanding of conversion tracking, tagging, and event tracking implementation.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Facebook Ads Manager, Microsoft Excel/Sheets).
  • Experience with cross-channel ROI reporting and data visualization techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets to extract meaningful insights.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate and reliable reporting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and experimental design principles is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Calendar a plus.
  • Ability to be organized, with a keen attention to detail.
